Itinerary
  • Day 1: Tokyo - Mt.Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto
    Deluxe motorcoach to the foot of Mt.Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. Lunch at Hotel Highland Resort.
    Afternoon, visit to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi and Mt.Komagatake Aerial cableway. Proceed to odawara to take a Shinkansen train to the classical city of Kyoto.

  • Day 2: Kyoto - Tokyo
    Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Golden Pavilion, Nijo castle noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial palace (on Sat., Sun, & national holiday: visit Higashi Honganji Temple instead).
    After lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center, afternoon sightseeing of the city, visiting Sanjusangendo Hall with its 1,001 impressive images of Buddha, vermilion-hued heian Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple with its wooden veranda. Evening board a Shinkansen train back to Tokyo.
    Transfer to major hotels in Tokyo.

    Remarks on Sunrise Highlight Tours 
    
    1. It may be necessary to delete a visit to Mt.Komagatake Aerial cableway depending on traffic conditions,
     especially during the following periods:
    
	Mar.20,21, Apr.29, May 3,4,5, Jul.18,19,24,25,31, Aug.1,7,8,13,16,21,22,28,29, 
	Sep.19,20,23,25,26, Oct.2,3,10,11,16,17,23,24,30,31,
	Nov.3,6,7,13,14,20,21 & 23
     
    2. When the driveway up to Mt.Fuji's 5th station is closed in winter and 
    spring, Fujiyama Museum will be visited instead.
    
    3. Other visits may also be deleted or substituted depending on traffic and weather 
    conditions and/or for operational reasons.
