This one-day guided tour to Kyoto, Japan's former capital, leaves from Nagoya by bullet train.
Visit the Tokuwaga shogun's residence, Nijo Castle, before marveling at the gold leaf covered Golden Pavillion and strolling through its exquisite surrounding garden. Visit the Kyoto Imperial Palace and watch traditional artisans work their crafts at the Kyoto Handicraft Center. Then walk through Sanjusangendo, Japan's longest wooden structure, and stroll to Kiyomizudera Temple for a sweeping view of the city.

The tour will disband on arrival at Nagoya Station
REMARKS
1. Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August and December or Wednesday if Tuesday is National Holiday.The tour will visit Ryoanji Temple or Daitokuji Daisen-in Temple instead. 2. The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays. On these days, tour will visit Nishi Honganji instead. 3. You are required to fill out a form with your name, sex, age, nationality when you enter Kyoto Imperial Palace. 4. You will visit Chion-in Temple instead of Heian Jingu Shrine on Oct. 22. 5. This tour is offered to travelers from overseas only.
